Article Processing Fee (APF)

The International Journal of Social Sciences, Language and Linguistics (IJSSLL) is a self-funded, open-access journal dedicated to the unrestricted dissemination of high-quality scholarly research. To uphold rigorous publishing standards and ensure global accessibility, the journal operates independently without funding from governmental or institutional sources. The Article Processing Fee (APF) is vital to support operational costs including website hosting, DOI assignment, plagiarism screening, typesetting, editorial management systems, and digital archiving.
Article Publication Fee (APF):
Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors are required to pay the APF to support the peer review process, editorial handling, and final production of their article.
Fee Structure:
- International Authors: $100 USD per accepted manuscript
Note: Special issues or requests for expedited peer review may incur additional charges. Authors will be notified in advance if such fees apply.
Payment Schedule:
- The APF must be settled within 1–2 days of receiving the acceptance notification.
- Failure to pay within the stipulated timeframe may result in publication delays or withdrawal of the article.

- Wise (formerly TransferWise)

Discounts and Waivers:
IJSSLL encourages equitable access to publication and offers partial waivers and discounts for authors facing financial constraints.
Eligibility for Waivers:
- Authors from low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank)
- Students currently enrolled at accredited academic institutions (proof required)
Application Process:
- Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
- Authors should send a formal request with supporting documents (e.g., student ID, affiliation certificate, proof of residence).
- Requests submitted after acceptance will not be considered.
Refund Policy:
- Once a manuscript is accepted, the APF is non-refundable.
- The corresponding author is responsible for full payment. IJSSLL does not provide refunds under any circumstances, including author withdrawal after payment.
