Publication Ethics
International Journal of Social Sciences, Language and Linguistics (IJSSLL)
The International Journal of Social Sciences, Language and Linguistics (IJSSLL) adheres strictly to the ethical publishing standards and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). As a peer-reviewed academic journal, IJSSLL is committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity, transparency, accountability, and professionalism throughout all stages of the publication process.
All participants involved in scholarly publishing—including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher—are expected to comply with these ethical principles to ensure the credibility and reliability of the academic record.

Ethical Conduct of Research
Authors must ensure that their research is conducted in an ethical and responsible manner. Research involving human participants, surveys, interviews, or sensitive data must comply with relevant institutional, national, and international ethical standards. Where applicable, authors must obtain prior ethical approval and clearly state this within the manuscript.

Originality and Plagiarism
Manuscripts submitted to IJSSLL must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal. Plagiarism in any form—including direct copying, improper paraphrasing, and self-plagiarism—is strictly prohibited.
All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts found to violate originality standards may be rejected at any stage of the publication process or retracted after publication.

Authorship and Contributorship
Authorship should accurately reflect individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. All listed authors must:
- Have contributed substantially to the conception, design, analysis, or interpretation of the study;
- Have participated in drafting or critically revising the manuscript;
- Have approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission;
- Agree to take public responsibility for the content of the work.
Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be appropriately acknowledged.

Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation, evaluation, or publication of the manuscript. All disclosed conflicts will be carefully reviewed to ensure objectivity and transparency in editorial decision-making.

Peer Review Ethics
IJSSLL employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, impartiality, and academic rigor. Reviewers are expected to:
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively and constructively;
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all manuscript materials;
- Declare any potential conflicts of interest;
- Refrain from using unpublished material for personal research.
Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based solely on the scholarly merit, originality, and relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s scope.

Data Transparency and Reproducibility
Authors must present data accurately and transparently, providing sufficient methodological detail to enable replication by other researchers. Where feasible, datasets should be made publicly accessible. If data cannot be shared openly, authors must be prepared to provide them upon reasonable request from editors or reviewers.

Responsibilities of Authors
Authors are responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the manuscript;
- Properly citing and acknowledging all sources;
- Obtaining permission for the use of copyrighted material;
- Adhering to journal policies on referencing, data availability, and ethical research conduct;
- Promptly informing the editorial office of any significant errors or inaccuracies discovered after submission or publication.

Misconduct, Corrections, and Retractions
IJSSLL takes allegations of ethical misconduct seriously. In cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or other unethical behavior, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate action. This may include rejection of the manuscript, publication of corrections, retractions, or notification of the authors’ affiliated institutions.

Ethical Commitment
By adhering to these publication ethics, IJSSLL aims to uphold the integrity of scholarly communication and provide a trustworthy platform for research in social sciences, language, and linguistics.
