The International Journal of Applied Mathematics (IJAM) is an independent, open-access scholarly journal committed to the global dissemination of high-quality research in applied mathematics and related interdisciplinary fields.

To maintain high publishing standards and provide unrestricted access to published research worldwide, the journal operates without subscription revenue or institutional funding. The Article Processing Fee (APF) supports essential publishing services, including:

  • Editorial and peer review management
  • DOI registration
  • Plagiarism screening
  • Copyediting and typesetting
  • Website maintenance and hosting
  • Digital archiving and indexing support

Article Publication Fee (APF)

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors are required to pay the APF to support the editorial process and final publication of their article.

Additional Charges

Special issues, urgent publication requests, or expedited peer review services may involve additional fees. Authors will be informed in advance if such charges apply.

Payment Schedule

  • The APF must be paid within 1–2 business days after the acceptance notification is issued.
  • Delayed payment may result in postponement of publication or withdrawal of the accepted manuscript from the publication schedule.

Discounts and Waivers

IJAM supports equitable access to academic publishing and may provide partial waivers or discounts for authors experiencing financial difficulties.

Eligibility for Waivers

Waivers or discounts may be considered for:

  • Authors from low-income countries (based on World Bank classifications)
  • Students enrolled in accredited academic institutions
  • Researchers without institutional or grant funding

Application Process

  • Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.
  • Authors should provide supporting documentation, such as:
    • Student identification card
    • Institutional affiliation letter
    • Proof of residence or funding limitations

Requests submitted after manuscript acceptance may not be considered.

Refund Policy

  • Once a manuscript has been accepted, the APF is non-refundable.
  • The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring full payment of applicable charges.
  • No refunds will be issued in cases of author withdrawal after payment or after the publication process has begun.

Transparency and Ethical Commitment

The journal is committed to transparency in publication fees and ensures that editorial decisions are based solely on the academic quality and scholarly merit of submitted manuscripts, independent of payment status.
